I finish the series dedicated to tattoos of numbers with a special meaning by talking about the meaning of some not very well known and one that everyone knows.
Issue 52: is the number of weeks in a year and the number of years in a complete cycle according to the Mayan calendar.
Issue 300- a number that is all the rage in the tattoo world because of the movie 300 based on Miller's comic that chronicles the battle of Thermopylae (although it should actually be called 1400 because the king was left in the rear with 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians and 400 Thebans who also had them well placed)
Issue 360: is the number of degrees of a circle so it symbolizes the completion of a cycle. It also means perfection.
Number 108: Of tremendous importance to the Eastern religions is the number of beads of the Rosaries of Buddhist and Hindu prayers. This ensures that God's name is said at least a hundred times. Why a hundred times? Perhaps because one hundred is ten times ten, which is why it is considered to be a symbol of absolute fullness.
Issue 10.000: for the Japanese it means BANZAI! which translates "Ten thousand years"; it is a way of wishing eternal life to the emperor. I was very surprised to know the meaning of this number and of the word itself since I knew that the kamikaze soldiers shouted it before committing suicide, but I did not know that when they launched themselves at a military objective they shouted "Long live the emperor" to fill themselves with courage .
The last but not the least: the number 69. This number has a very curious and amazing meaning, one of the most amazing meanings of all the numbers that I have explained, but by far, eh? It symbolizes that ... well ... well, you go and ... you know ... you take and, this ... well that. Surely this one does not need to be explained.
The meaning of 69 is wrong.
