Selection of tattoos on the elbow, an interesting area to tattoo

Tattoos on elbow

It is one of the areas of the body that in recent years has become fashionable to tattoo. We are talking about the elbow. And it is that this part of the arm can easily be an object to be tattooed. In addition, you can play with the movement of the arm when stretching or contracting it. On Tatuantes we want to show you some examples of elbow tattoos with which to inspire you when tattooing this area.

As we say, the curvature of the area allows the tattoo artist to let his imagination fly when designing our tattoo. Flowers, animals, geometric shapes. Practically anything we have in mind we can translate into the skin of this area of our body. A few years ago, spider web tattoos were very popular and although they have been erroneously associated according to what type of ideology, a few years ago it seems that they are increasingly present in tattoo studios.

Tattoos on elbow

Personally, it should be noted that I have a tattoo (and quite large) on the elbow of my left arm. It is a composition that mixes Maori with tribal elements. And the truth, I can say little about pain since I have practically felt the same pain as in other areas of the arm. However, one of the aspects that I like least about tattooing this area of the body is the cumbersomeness of the cures and covering the tattoo (especially in cold weather).

For this reason and after my personal experience, if you are interested in getting a tattoo in this area of the body, I will recommend that you do it when the good weather arrives and you can go in short sleeves. The first days when it comes to bending the arm you can also notice some itching (more than usual than when you are healing a tattoo on another side of the body).
