A little over a few weeks ago we talked about some details about the tattoo healing process. If the quality of a tattoo artist is essential to capture the desired drawing on our skin, following the correct guidelines to heal the tattoo, which is still a skin wound, is just as important so that it remains in the best possible condition during the next years.
And although it may seem somewhat unlikely, if you follow correct tattoo healing guidelines, it could not heal properly and in addition to being forced to review it a few weeks later, it will deteriorate more quickly over the years. It is the same as if we are regulars to sunbathe in summer. To protect our tattoos, it is essential to use sun protection of the highest level on our tattoos.
Going back to the healing process of tattoos. I have found a curious video in which the healing process is shown throughout the ten days after the tattoo was made. For those who have never had a tattoo, it may seem unpleasant to see the scales that come out of the skin when it is healing and that by the way, we should never tear ourselves off. They must fall off on their own.
I also take this opportunity to remember that those people who already have dry skin, should exercise extreme caution when curing their tattoos and keep the skin hydrated (never excessively).
