Tattoo made by an industrial robot

Will the time come when machines take over the art of tattooing? Although I personally doubt it very much, I am sure that in the not too distant future there will be places where a tattoo done by an industrial robot. Although I do not want to let my imagination fly too much, I think that very soon there will be tattoo booths where you can make a payment, select a design and in a few minutes have our brand new tattoo.

Obviously, the hand and creativity of man can never be replaced by a machine, however, we begin to see the first glimpses of this future. Some time ago we published a video of a tattoo made by a 3D printer, however, today we do the same with the first tattoo made by an industrial robot. That's right, an industrial robot has been modified to have the ability to tattoo.

A robot that looks like it was taken off the assembly line of any car factory. Once the robotic arm has been adapted and modified correctly (it must be taken into account that they have great strength), the tattoo chosen by our protagonists has been programmed, Pierre Emm and Johan da Silveira. It is a spiral tattoo on the shin of the right leg.

Although at first glance the result may seem somewhat bland and inconspicuous, we must take into account the fact that it is a spiral tattoo de great precision and accuracy. It is very interesting to see the entire process of making the tattoo and the movements of the robotic arm. By the way, you will notice that the robotic arm does not wet the tattoo needle in ink as any tattoo artist does. Instead it "shoots" the ink through a small hose. That is why the tattoo area is very dirty.
