Some tips for tattooing flowers

Flower tattoos

When it comes to tattooing a flower, of whatever type, there are many things that we must take into account. If we want it in color or black and white, the size and the area of the body where it will be tattooed. That is why we want to give you some tips for tattooing flowers that will be very practical if you were thinking of getting this tattoo. And if it will be your first tattoo, you should pay more attention to them.

On the one hand, we have to choose the size and detail of the tattoo. Is not the same tattoo a rose than a daisy or a lotus flower. Once we are clear about the type of flower that we will tattoo, we must choose a size that is in line with the tattoo design itself. Color or black and white? Here I would say that personal opinion is more important, since you can have a very beautiful tattoo both in color and in black and white. Everything will depend on the quality of the tattoo artist.

Flower tattoos

Personally I prefer flower tattoos (other than roses) in color. Now, you can also choose a balance between both options. In one of my tattoos, I have black and white cherry blossoms that have several red accents. It is another possibility to consider. Use black and white as a base to later combine it with color details.

Body location. In this last aspect, I will say that, from what I have been able to see throughout all these years, a tattoo of a simple rose with nothing else is usually quite "bland". That is why I would personally recommend combining the flower with some other element or even with other flowers to create a beautiful composition.
