Browsing Twitter this afternoon, I came across this funny image that, honestly, I would like to share with all of you. It is a clear example of in which area of the body a tattoo hurts the most. Yes, it is one of the questions most asked by those people who are waiting to get their first tattoo or who are wondering whether to premiere or not. How much will it hurt? Giving a generic answer is complicated but we can use the general topics extended over the years.
And it is that as a general rule, there are several areas of our body that are very painful when we get a tattoo. Following the image that you can see just below (and leaving aside the humorous description of the degree of pain), hands, feet, chest and the ribs they are the most painful areas of the body. On the contrary, forearm, shoulder or calves are areas in which the degree of pain should be very mild.
Obviously and as I have said before, pain is very relative depending on the person. And it is that if an area of our body lacks fat it will hurt more when the needle passes through it. In addition and curiously, I speak from my experience, the same area of the body can vary a lot in the degree of pain. And I remember when I tattooed my forearm, on the inside I hardly felt pain, while on the outside the pain from the needle was much more increased.
